She maps at about a 15-month old floor. She got this plaything for her birthday and it is AMAZING! ! ! She is naming letter of the alphabet... if I say, "where's the K?" she'll set the K attractive feature in the toy dog. Since she has autistic traits, she likes repetition, and this is the perfect thing! She is even beginning to say some alphabetic character fathoms like, "mmm, mmm, mmm". She has MANY Leap Frog playthings, and this is another great one to add to the lean! ! My girl figures out * everything * in sight, including the letter of the alphabet attracters of this plaything, and it has not affected the ability of this plaything to work.
