I bought this actual model the PN50C8000. One may get the impression that it's silver. i would decision it a dark gray brushed metal look. that is okay IMO.
One issue that's seldom publicized for a few reason is that the undeniable fact that plasma's don't seem to be even near as bright as newer LCD models. HDTV 3D worried me a trifle.
But once I got it; it took some tweaking however i used to be ready to get precisely the color/brightness I needed for traditional viewing and 3d viewing. All 3d glasses are tinted therefore it's smart to possess a really bright setting for after you read 3d.
