First off i need to be clear concerning the sort of review this can be meant to be. i'm not a profession TV rater. i'm not a videophile. i'm a daily Joe and that i am reviewing this for the regular Joe who is considering spending quite usual on a decent quality tv. throughout succeeding few months, i am positive you'll notice a additional skilled review from the same old places... except for currently, this can be my impressions.
CORNER LIGHT: when reading several reviews on last years B8000 and this year's C7000, i used to be worried concerning the sunshine that emits from the corners. I've seen displays of last year's B8000 and this year's C7000 and have terribly simply seen what folks are talking concerning. I took a giant gamble in buying this TV before I scan if folks were having problems with this C8000. therefore let me say... when watching this TV for concerning five hours per day for three days... I even have NOT seen the sunshine returning from the perimeters as seen on different sets. And believe me i have been wanting. i attempted to seek out it watching the HD kill Time Warner Cable, Blu-ray's from the PS3, Blu-Ray's from the Samsung 3D Blu-Ray player, watching in the dead of night, throughout the day... Nothing. I simply don't see it!
LOOKS: Samsung UN55C8000 TV appearance simply wonderful. it's a awfully dark black screen. it's as lovely turned off because it will on. i used to be nervous concerning the comb metal look, however it truly appearance terribly nice and compliments the new chromed four-legged stand.
